The challenge.
When we started working together, Abu Al-Baraa was still being set up and had no clear marketing plan to build a presence in the market and reach its target customers.
The challenge was even greater due to intense competition in the Hajj and Umrah sector, rising advertising costs, and the difficulty of turning potential customers’ interest into actual bookings.
The diagnosis.
I started by researching the market, analyzing competitors, and understanding the target audience’s behavior to identify the challenges preventing the business from reaching the right customers and limiting its growth potential. This analysis revealed several key challenges:
The strategy.
Based on the analysis, we set a strategy to build a strong digital and marketing foundation that helps the company compete and reach the right audience, through:
- 1A clear vision and a complete marketing plan.
- 2A visual and digital identity that reflects the company.
- 3A content strategy aimed at the right audience.
- 4A website that supports bookings.
- 5Defining the competitive advantage and bringing it forward.
- 6Building a marketing team able to execute the plan and support growth.
Execution — and my role in it.
Throughout the engagement, I led the strategic and marketing side of the business by:
- Analyzing the business, market and competitors to find opportunities.
- Helping build the vision and marketing strategy.
- Designing the ad campaign plan and overseeing its execution.
- Helping form the marketing team and define its roles.
- Regular consulting sessions to support the owner.
- Following execution, analyzing performance and making improvements.
Some of the results

In a market as competitive as Hajj and Umrah, the challenge wasn't just reaching people — it was building a digital and marketing foundation able to target the right customer and turn their interest into a real sales opportunity.
